Tout droit venu de chez nos voisins du nord est, les belges de Girls in Hawaii nous offrent un premier album “From here to here”, qui sera sans doute parmi les meilleurs album rock&folk de cette année.
Le groupe nantais nous livre un BRILLANT album.
A premier abord, on pourrait croire à l’une des compiles de Béatrice Ardisson. Mais à mieux y regarder, il ne s’agit pas d’une succession de pales reprises de standards du rock mais bel et bien une sélection de titres dont la déclinaison bossa nova prend tout son sens.
Après nous avoir fait jubiler avec son “Lilith”, un album magnifique, Jean Louis Murat revient accompagné de Gil Jimenez d’AS Dragon, son comparse depuis “Le Moujik et sa femme” et la chanteuse d’Elysian Field, Jennifer Charles.
